Should we stay in Iraq to a certian degree?

The other day on NPR, I listened to debates from the Heritage Foundation, American Enterprise Institute, and the Brookings Institute. They all agreed that the Middle East was going toward a Third World War. With Saudi Arabia and Iran fighting a proxy war in Iraq, and the United States trying to help from Israel becoming involved, the war was escalating into a World War based upon the resources that are located in the Middle East. The resource is OIL.

All the think tanks named above agreed that the oil production could be reduced if the majority of the nations went to war. The number of reduction fell between 20-25%. If that is the case, a gallon of gasoline in the United States could fall between $6.50-$7.00. The U.S. economy would be devestated.

So, the question I pose is simple -- Should we stay, and to what degree do we stay?

Was Karl Rove given a choice? Resign or Indicted?

One of the most heard rumors on the internet is the questions I posed in the title. Is it plausible that there is truth behind the rumor? Give me your ideas.
